The beauty of the “Midnight 95” is in its simplicity and in the details.
Organic cotton. White crown. Midnight navy embroidery and brim. Green underbrim. Leather strap. Navy interior labeling and a matching navy tag at the back.
Nothing about it is trying too hard.
The “Midnight 95” is our recreation of the golf hats I grew up around.
I was born in 1995, and some of my earliest memories of golf are tied to my dad. He passed his love for the game down to me in Ashworth, Reebok, Greg Norman, King Cobra hats and all the stuff that defined golf in that era. Clean logos. Cotton hats. Leather straps. Green underbrims. Things that were made simply and made well.
Years later, when I started getting heavily into vintage golf, I realized a lot of that obsession was really nostalgia. I’d find an old shirt or hat and immediately think, my dad used to wear something like this. It reminded me of being a kid. Of simpler times. Of the version of golf I fell in love with before I knew anything about what was cool.
The problem is, those pieces are getting harder and harder to find.
So we made one.
The “Midnight 95” isn’t meant to reinvent anything. In a lot of ways, it’s the opposite. It’s our attempt to bring back something that used to exist. The kind of hat that could have been hanging in a golf shop 30 years ago and still feels just as good today.
We’re dropping it August 29th, the day before I turn 31.
A nod to the year I was born, the era that introduced me to golf, and the person who introduced me to it.
“Midnight 95”
Made like they used to be.
